Puzzles & Pearls  Family Resource Center

Puzzles & Pearls is a group that was created by two Pearls Teyonda Riley and Sapna  Patel who happen to have a piece of the puzzle as the world knows as Autism. Both of our sons are autistic. We wanted to create this group to show our love, support and to provide resources for our fellow Pearls.

I myself have been working in the field for over 22 years and I currently work as a behavior therapist for years. I've worked in many behavior programs in a supervisor position or as a direct support professional. I also had the honor of being a supervisor of a self -determination program.

Sapna is a very strong parent who learned everything she could learn to make sure she would be a great advocate for her son. Sapna has gained so much knowledge to ensure that she can be the best advocate she can be not only for her son but many other parents as well.  We are super excited about starting this group because great things will come of this.

"Although they never realize it, our children with autism or any intellectual disability often end up teaching us much more than we could ever teach them. They show us patience, unconditional love, and the greatest joys of life."
